Modern/Craftsman Kitchen/Dining Area
This contemporary home with an open floor plan features solid teak floors and shaker cabinets with an eating bar.  The sleek countertop looks and feels like concrete, but is actually a solid-body porcelain in large pieces with few tight grout joints.  The backsplash is a staggered pattern of mixed slate, which emotes a strata of natural earth, highlighted by glass tile.  The paired iron chandeliers have a modern shape yet traditional shades.  All the metal elements in the home have smooth lines are are oil-rubbed bronze or pewter.  The dining area is framed by a stained box-beam ceiling.
Old World Bathroom
This posh master bath is tiled with two colors of natural travertine which are chiseled and brushed.  The large scale pieces increase the visual space in this narrow bathroom. Radiant heat in the floor warms your toes.  The quarried travertine is matched with a solid durango slab countertop, and a backsplash of assorted bits of marble.  The recessed niche in the shower, wide drawer bank and the built-in medicine cabinets are excellent for storage.  Dark-stained cabinetry and warm colors complete the look.
Some recent residential projects:
This European Country kitchen features tea-stained cream cabinets and embellished hardware.  The countertop is a warm-toned granite, accompanied by a backsplash of tumbled travertine in subway-style pieces.  The hanging pendant over the kitchen sink has a hand-blown shade, and the swirled ironwork enhances the graceful arches on the upper cabinet doors.

Elsewhere in this kitchen is matching beadboard and a built-in hutch, stained a dark walnut which complements the antiqued cabinetry. The attached living space (below) has a hearth of honed travertine with a brocade accent, and oversized pillars and a massive mantel crafted by our fine woodworkers.
