We are Phil and Leah Lockwood, the principal builder and architectural designer for Lockwood Design/Build. We have been licensed contractors through the state of Oregon since 1995, initially working in the Portland area as specialty high-end finish contractors. We currently have projects in both the Portland and Seattle areas.
We have spent over a decade working on numerous multi-million dollar homes, and our work has been featured in many local and national media, including Oregon Home magazine, the Oregonian, Better Homes & Gardens, the Columbian, Walls Windows & Floors, and most recently Bend Living.
We have lived in the Pacific Northwest for all of our adult lives. We both attended college here: Phil has a degree in Physics from Lewis & Clark and Leah has a B.A. from Reed College. Leah also earned a degree in Architecture from Portland State University. We lived for over ten years in Portland, remodeling in an old farmhouse in the Hawthorne neighborhood, while we built our contracting business.
We have two daughters, Nuala (6) and Maeve (3).
